Captive In The Dark

Caleb has lived for one purpose, revenge. Abducted as a child and sold into slavery by a ruthless mob figure, his life has been shaped by that betrayal, and for twelve years he’s buried himself in the world that once trapped him, searching for the man responsible. Now, at last, his enemy has resurfaced under a new name, though his cruelty remains unchanged. To get close enough to destroy him, Caleb knows he must become something he despises, forcing him to abduct and train a young woman to play a role he knows all too well. Olivia Ruiz, only eighteen, wakes in an unfamiliar place, restrained and blindfolded, greeted by the calm yet commanding voice of a man who calls himself Caleb, but insists she call him Master.

She’s strong-willed despite her fear, innocent yet carrying a quiet, undeniable allure she struggles to suppress. Though she’s terrified of the cold, controlling man who holds her captive, what unsettles her most is the dangerous pull she feels toward him, a connection she neither wants nor understands.
