Great Big Beautiful Life

When the notoriously reclusive heiress Margaret Ives invites eternal optimist Alice Scott to the sun-drenched Little Crescent Island, Alice is certain she has finally landed her career-defining "Serious Publication." However, her big break is immediately threatened by the arrival of Hayden Anderson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning "human thundercloud" who is just as determined to secure the story for himself. Margaret proposes a high-stakes one-month trial to unearth the truth behind her scandalous 20th-century dynasty, after which she will choose only one of them to write her biography.

The competition turns complicated as Margaret feeds them tantalizing, fragmented clues that they are forbidden from sharing due to ironclad NDAs. As they navigate the mystery of the Ives family, an inconvenient yearning begins to pulse between the two rivals every time they share a room. Alice and Hayden soon realize that their own unfolding narrative, much like the one Margaret is spinning, could end as a mystery, a tragedy, or a love ballad, depending entirely on who gets the final word.
