Icebreaker

Anastasia Allen has spent her entire life training for a singular goal: a spot on Team USA. Her meticulously planned path seems perfectly on track when she scores a full scholarship to the University of California, Maple Hills, and a coveted position on their elite figure skating team. She is disciplined, driven, and possesses a schedule that leaves absolutely no room for error, or for the arrogant captain of the hockey team, Nate Hawkins.

Nate’s own priorities are strictly centered on his teammates and keeping them on the ice, a task that becomes significantly more complicated when a facilities mishap forces the hockey team and the figure skating team to share a single rink. The tension is immediate, especially with Anastasia, who makes it crystal clear that she has no time for Nate’s distractions.

However, when a sudden crisis leaves Anastasia’s skating partner’s future in jeopardy, she finds herself in the unthinkable position of needing Nate’s help to keep her Olympic dreams alive. As they are forced into a partnership neither expected, the icy friction between them begins to generate a heat that neither can ignore. Anastasia is certain she could never actually fall for a hockey player, but as the sparks fly, she’s forced to wonder if Nate might be the only one capable of helping her take her shot.
