Gigi Graham is a force to be reckoned with: focused, fearless, and tired of being known only as "Garrett Graham’s daughter." With her sights set on the national team, she is determined to carve out her own legacy on the ice. Enter Luke Ryder: six-and-a-half feet of brooding intensity and the new co-captain of the Briar hockey team. Luke is currently drowning in "baggage" and struggling to lead a fractured roster, leaving him with zero patience for anything that doesn't involve winning, especially not a distracting favor for a rival's daughter.

But they both have something the other needs, leading to a high-stakes, strictly business arrangement. Luke agrees to help Gigi sharpen her legendary goal-scoring skills, and in exchange, she’ll use her influence to help him win the hard-earned favor of her father, his legendary coach.
