The Mistake

College junior John Logan is the ultimate campus heartthrob, a star hockey player who navigates a world of endless parties and easy hook-ups with a killer grin. But beneath his carefree exterior, Logan is spiraling, hiding a growing sense of despair about the dead-end life awaiting him after graduation. When he meets freshman Grace Ivers, he expects another brief, sexy distraction to numb the pressure. Instead, a thoughtless mistake on his part sends the one girl who actually matters walking out of his life, leaving Logan to spend his final year at Briar University desperate to prove he’s worth a second chance.

But the Grace who returns for her sophomore year isn't the quiet, shy "butterfly" Logan remembers. Older, wiser, and completely over the arrogant hockey players who think the world owes them a favor, Grace has no intention of being just another notch on a puck bunny's belt. She isn't looking for a charity case or a hollow apology; she’s looking for a man who will actually work to earn her trust. As Logan realizes that his usual game won't work on the new-and-improved Grace, he finds himself in the passenger seat for the first time, and Grace is more than happy to drive him absolutely wild.
