Things We Never Got Over

Naomi wasn’t just fleeing her own wedding, she was racing to Knockemout, Virginia, to rescue her estranged twin, Tina. However, Naomi quickly discovers that her sister hasn’t changed, after stealing Naomi’s car and cash, Tina vanishes, leaving behind an eleven-year-old daughter Naomi never knew existed. Now stranded in a rough-and-tumble town where disputes are settled with fists and beer, Naomi is left with no job, no home, and a precocious niece to raise.

Knox, a local who avoids high-maintenance women and complicated lives, witnesses Naomi’s world implode and grudgingly decides to help her out of her jam.
