Two Twisted Crowns

Elspeth and Ravyn have clawed their way through shadows to gather nearly all the Providence Cards, but the final, most elusive piece of the puzzle remains out of reach: The Twin Alders.

With the Solstice fast approaching, the clock is ticking on their mission to cleanse the kingdom of the dark infection rotting its very soul. To find the last card, they must do the unthinkable, venture beyond the lethal, mist-choked perimeter of the forest that has served as their world's jagged border for generations.

The only map they have is the one etched into the mind of a monster. The Nightmare, the ancient spirit living behind Elspeth’s eyes, is the only entity capable of guiding them through the white-out terrors that lie ahead. But the Nightmare is tired of being a passenger. As they draw closer to the source of the curse, the spirit’s grip on Elspeth’s consciousness tightens, and he is no longer interested in just sharing her body, he’s ready to claim it entirely.
