If you’ve been keeping up with BookTok lately, you already know that 2026 is shaping up to be an absolutely massive year for romance readers who love seeing their favourite stories come to life on screen. Prime Video in particular has gone all in on the book community this year, and honestly? We are not complaining.
Here are the romance adaptations coming to Prime Video in 2026 that you need to have on your radar.
Romance Book Adaptations On Prime 2026
Off Campus (May 13, 2026)
This is the one BookTok has been losing its mind over, and rightly so. Based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling five-book series, Off Campus follows an elite ice hockey team at Briar University and the women in their lives as they grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Amazon Season 1 adapts the first novel in the series, The Deal.
The show’s first season focuses on quiet songwriter Hannah, played by Ella Bright, and the college’s all-star hockey player, Garrett, played by Belmont Cameli. The fake-dating trope, the hockey setting, the enemies-to-lovers tension, it has everything.
Impressively, the series was already renewed for a second season before Season 1 even premiered. That’s how much confidence Prime Video has in this one. If you haven’t read the books yet, now is the time to start. The Deal is the perfect introduction to Briar University, and once you’re in, you won’t want to leave.
Every Year After (June 10, 2026)
Every Summer After by Carley Fortune will be released on Prime Video on June 10th under the title Every Year After. HEA Bookshop The cast features Sadie Soverall as Percy Fraser and Matt Cornett as Sam Florek. HEA Bookshop
Percy returns to her childhood lake town after more than a decade away, reuniting with Sam, her first best friend, her first love, and the first heart she broke. Told across six summers and one last weekend together, it’s an unforgettable second-chance romance.
The Love Hypothesis (2026 — date TBC)
Ali Hazelwood’s beloved STEM romance is heading to Prime Video, with Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman in the lead roles. Swooon The nerdy love story follows Olive, a PhD student, and a hot professor who embark on a fake relationship to test their own theories about love. Swooon
Hazelwood’s novel has one of the most devoted fanbases in the romance community, and the casting of Reinhart and Bateman has fans very excited. Reinhart has promised the movie will be released in 2026. No official date yet, but keep your eyes peeled, this one is going to be everywhere when it drops.
Save Us “Maxton Hall” Season 3 (2026 — date TBC)
Prime Video is predicted to release the final season of its mega-hit German-language series later this year. Season 3 will adapt the final book of Mona Kasten’s Maxton Hall trilogy, picking up with Ruby still reeling from being suspended from school under false charges.
If you somehow haven’t watched Maxton Hall yet, clear your weekend, it is one of the best romance adaptations in recent years and the perfect binge before the final season lands.
The Last Sunrise (Summer 2026)
The Last Sunrise, based on Anna Todd’s novel, stars Maia Reficco, Eva Longoria, and Fernando Lindez. Todd is of course best known for the After series, so fans of her emotional, dramatic storytelling will want to watch this one closely. Details are still limited, but the cast alone is enough to have us intrigued.
Which one are you most excited for?
It’s a genuinely difficult question this year. Whether you’re a sucker for hockey romance, second-chance love stories, or slow-burn academic settings, Prime Video has something lined up for you in 2026. Drop a comment and let us know which adaptation you’re counting down the days for, and tell us whether you’re planning to read (or reread) the book first!
